Own Page on Facebook!

So since university I have been applying for jobs, redoing my entire portfolio and building my own business page whilst also working night-shifts at my current job, busy busy!

I have created a page called ‘Framed By Emily ‘ go and have a nosey and give it a like! 🙂

The page will be showing some of my own made typography designs that can be personalised to you for any occasion! I will also be adding my own drawings and illustrations that will be available, everything bought will come with a frame if you would like – hence the name .

Graduation Day!

Today was the day I never thought was going to come!

I graduated today with a 2:1 in BA (HONS) Fashion from Cleveland College Of Art and Design which is something I’m really proud of for achieving by myself.

I’m baccckkkk.

I haven’t posted in a while as I have been so busy with my last university deadline – I haven’t had time to sleep let alone post!

I’ve now handed in my last project and so happy it’s all done – however I already want to start a new project!

I DID IT!

Tonight my work was shown on a catwalk outside Cleveland College of Art and Design. The atmosphere was amazing and the adrenaline was surreal. I loved seeing the general public’s reaction to my work- made all the long hours worth it as I was so happy with the finished result!

Illustrations an Technical flats redone and portfolio done

For my final portfolio I have struggled as I can’t get the document to look how I want it to. I’ve spent a lot of time on it the past few month and been looking at it constantly for 11 hours the past few days. i have researched it on my pinterest board and got it to the best I feel I can achieve. For this I have redone illustrations for all 3 projects and all flats as well ( VERY time consuming!!)

However I am done!!

I have started publicising this after just finding out the correct day and time and have share it in the Facebook groups and over social media to promote the show far and wide

This website explains the good reasons behind doing a apprenticeship after university as it helps develop skills, and gain confidence and experience. By doing this I think it will benefit me on my CV as when researching job majority of them ask for experience more than a degree.
